How To Decide On Where To Take Pictures
Taking pictures is a hobby that can be done virtually anywhere and at anytime. It is simple enough for anyone to learn and can be exciting and inspirational.
Deciding where and when to take photos can be tricky for the beginner.
First and foremost you need to know everything about the camera that you intend to use. If you have a manual about the camera, read it, become familiar with the camera as bet as you can. You should be familiar with the camera and know exactly what each setting is used for and how to use it.
Next you should decide what type of photography you are interested in; perhaps portraits, nature, landscapes, structural photography, sports, or something else will pose an interest. For instance, if you are interested in nature you can go to a park and simply walk the trails while looking at subjects to photograph. Whatever inspires you should be your focal point in your photography.
Take photographs, simply put, take as many photographs as you can of your subject in different viewpoints. Play with the camera settings, you will never know what image will turn out best without taking chances. Over thinking what subject you should photograph will put undue stress on yourself and not allow you to freely get ideas.
Professionals use lighting and setup and such; this is not something that is needed. What you do need is inspiration about the subjects that your interested in and a desire to go out and find those subjects. Do not limit yourself to a variety of places or subjects; bring you camera wherever you go.
